Desiree Fluellen – is an American news anchor and reporter currently working for Fox 10. She joined the FOX 10 News team as a reporter and fill-in-anchor in March of 2021.

She and her family are thrilled to make the Phoenix area their home.

DesireeDesiree Fluellen is a reporter and fill-in anchor from the United States who has been working with Fox 10 since March 2021. She was born on 14 May 1991, Age ( 31 years old as of 2022).

In Lockport, New York State, the United States, Desiree Wiley was born. Her mother, Dianne Wiley, works as a nurse at Princeton Hospital.

Her father, Jon Wiley, is a substance abuse counselor and social worker who participates in a program for people who misuse drugs.

Some stories claim that Jon, a former drug user, had to go through recovery when Desiree was a young child. DeAnna, Desiree’s sister, just “came out” as a lesbian and said she has Sarah as her female lover. Dakota, Desiree’s brother, is also younger than Desiree.

They don’t feel embarrassed to upload intimate pictures of themselves kissing and cuddling in the pool. Dakota, Desiree’s brother who plays basketball, graduated from high school in 2017. Four young cousins, all of whom are girls, are related to Desiree.

Desiree, a Lockport, New York, native, received her diploma from Lockport High School in 2009. North of Buffalo, New York, around 30 miles, is where she was born. At the age of 20, she earned a B.A. in Journalism with a specialization in Political Science and Economics from Buffalo State College, where she majored in journalism.

Throughout her time in college, Desiree worked as an economics teacher and a writer for “The World of Economics.” Desiree enjoys spending time with her family during her free time. Desiree started her television career in her hometown at WKBW-TV in Buffalo, New York. She spent three years at the station working as a traffic, entertainment, and general assignment reporter, as well as a fill-in anchor.

In 2016, Desiree landed an incredible opportunity in one of the nation’s top television markets. She joined NBC10 in Boston in August 2016 as the weekend morning anchor and a weekday reporter for NBC Boston’s Weekend Today.

While there in NBC Boston’s, Desiree spent time covering multiple Nor’easter storms, political rallies at the State House, court proceedings surrounding Aaron Hernandez, and many other important local and national stories.

Desiree is a native of Lockport in New York, graduated from Lockport High School in 2009. Her hometown is roughly 30 miles north of Buffalo, New York.

She majored in journalism at Buffalo State College. And, at the age of 20, received her B.A. in Journalism with a concentration in Political Science and Economics.

Desiree was an economics tutor and a contributing author to “The World of Economics,” during her time in college.

When she’s not working, Desiree loves spending time with her family and enjoys riding ATVs through the desert, hiking, trying new food, and organizing.

When she got married, anytime she was not at work she love spending as much time as possible with her husband and son.

What brought Desiree Wiley Fluellen to Phoenix?

Her husband, David, and she moved to Phoenix in January of last year, shortly before the pandemic hit. He’s an NFL running back and became a free agent, after spending 5 years with the Tennessee Titans in Nashville.

They were looking for a great training facility in a city they hopefully fall in love with. Turns out, they’ve been falling in love with Phoenix

She Sometimes craves a nice hot slice of pizza, a good burger, or great Italian BUT her absolute favorite thing to eat is chocolate custard ice cream in a cake cone!

Desiree was so fortunate to start her career at home, in Western New York, and was a reporter, who wore many hats, at WKBW.

Desiree Fluellen spent the first three years of her career covering major snowstorms, politics, and daily news. From Buffalo, she moved on to Boston, where she became the weekend morning co-anchor for NBC Boston.

After a few years covering everything in New England and getting married in between, She moved to Nashville to join her husband. she was the weekend morning anchor for WSMV-TV.

Where is Desiree Wiley now?

Now she no longer needs to commute between Boston and Tennessee to be with her husband. Now known as Desiree Wiley Fluellen, she recently began as a weekend morning anchor and weekday reporter at WSMV in Nashville, the nation’s No. 29 TV market.

She also covered the Boston Celtics, Red Sox and Bruins, New England Patriots, and the Boston Ballet.

In 2018, Desiree moved to Nashville to join her husband, David Fluellen Jr., while he was playing for the Tennessee Titans. She was hired by WSMV-TV as a reporter and anchor.

While anchoring one weekend morning, a mass shooting took place at a Waffle House. The devastating national story rocked the community and Desiree covered it extensively for her station. It is certainly something she will never forget.

Desiree moved to Phoenix in 2020. In March 2020, she and her husband became proud parents as their son was born in Scottsdale.
