Francis obtained theatrical roles as Nina and Molly in local performances of Vanya and Sonia, Masha and Spike, and Peter and the Starcatcher after graduating from Rutgers.
She was nominated for Best Ensemble and won Best Actress at the 2016 New York Innovative Theatre Awards for her performance as Meghan in the Off-Broadway production Connected at 59E59 Theaters.
