Requirements for Science International scholarships

You are qualified if you are:

  • an international student
  • studying full-time
  • beginning your first semester at the University of Queensland
  • commencing a UQ Faculty of Science program (minimum one-year duration). See the terms and conditions below for a full list of qualified programs.

And you:

  • have met the conditions of your offer by the scholarship’s closing date (you don’t need to accept your full offer by the scholarship application deadline)
  • display strong academic performance in your previous studies.

The Scholarship Value:

The Science International Scholarships are worth AUD 8,000 (one payment).

  • your capacity to create change and contribute to science (based on the personal statement you submitted in your Science International Scholarships application).
