  • Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must meet all criteria in order to be considered for the scholarship:
  • Limited scholarships may be available and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Fall and spring semester scholarships are only available. Summer scholarships are not available.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: To apply, applicants must complete the online application form for an undergraduate degree at the university.
  • Supporting Documents: The following documents must be submitted:
  • A copy of your passport
  • Transcripts of academic papers
  • Letters of reference, certificates, proofs of achievement, etc.
  • Status of finances
  • Admission Requirements: To qualify, students must have SAT scores of 950 and an ACT score of 18, as well as a National Exam; a GPA of 2.50-2.99.
  • Language Requirement: In addition to the admission requirements, international students must demonstrate English proficiency. You can display your English proficiency in one of the following ways:
  • 213 CBT, 550 PBT, 79 IBT for TOEFL
  • The IELTS score is 6.5
  • Duolingo: 100
  • PTE Academic: 53
  • An overall score of 58 in Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) or a grade of C or higher
  • SAT Scores prior to March 2016: Writing Section: 500; Reading Test: 27; Writing and Language Test: 29; SAT Scores from March 2016 to present: Reading Test: 27; Writing and Language Test: 29
  • AACT: 23
  • A “C” or better in Composition and Rhetoric I from a U.S.-based college or university.
  • TSI or similar programs in other states
  • An associate’s degree or higher from an institution of higher education in the U.S.
  • Completion of high school or a degree in an English-speaking country*
  • Intensive English Program at National American University completed

Each scholar will receive $12,000 in award money to cover their study expenses in the United States.
